Fragile Families Challenge: Getting Started Workshop with live-stream

Fri, Jun 23, 2017,
10:30 am to 4:00 pm

The Fragile Families Challenge is a scientific mass collaboration that combines predictive modeling, causal inference, and in-depth interviews in order to learn more about the lives of disadvantaged children.  By having a community of social and data scientists working on this project together, we can accomplish things that none of us could do individually.

This "Getting Started Workshop" is part of the Summer Institute for Computational Social Science (SICSS) sponsored by the Russell Sage Foundation. It will introduce you to the Challenge and give you time to get started on your model.

For those who cannot attend in person, a live-stream will also be available. For more information, see the FF Challenge Blog. Contact fragilefamilieschallenge@gmail.com with questions or for further details.
